Lawn Care Technician

About the role

Lawn Care Technicians are customer-facing brand ambassadors who treat lawns with top-quality, environmentally sensitive products, aerate and seed lawns, perform shop work, and offer appropriate new services to customers and prospects while in the field. If you enjoy working outdoors with little direct supervision and want to change the world one lawn at a time, this role may be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Apply lawn care treatments using environmentally sensitive products
• Aerate and seed lawns
• Perform shop work and maintenance
• Offer new services to customers and prospects in the field
• Meet production goals
• Operate machinery safely and effectively
• Lift objects in excess of 50 pounds

Requirements

• Strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to work
• Good attendance record
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check

Qualifications

• Actual work experience in the lawn care industry is highly desirable
• Ability to operate machinery

Pay

$12–14 per hour, plus commission.
