Lawn Care Technician

About the role

Nader's Pest Raiders is seeking a full-time Lawn Care Technician to provide top-notch service to Lawn and Ornamental customers. The ideal candidate will evaluate and diagnose lawn and ornamental needs, apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides, and maintain a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and keep appointments with customers
• Evaluate and diagnose lawn and ornamental needs
• Apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides
• Identify insects, weeds, fungus conditions, and other conducive conditions
• Explain next course of action to customers
• Draw diagrams or graphs of treatment plans
• Answer customer questions about proposed services
• Collect payments and suggest additional services
• Maintain a company vehicle and company equipment

Requirements

• Pass the state of Florida's Best Management Practices exam for lawn care
• Maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing
• Possess current Driver's License
• Maintain a driving record consistent with company standards
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Present a professional appearance including wearing an approved Arrow uniform
• Work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Be willing to work evenings and weekends
