Essential Job Duties

  • Control, scanning, indexing, linking, hardcopy filing and distribution of documents in PMWeb.
  • Manage flow of records to project participants distribution, including correspondence, technical submittals, project reports, Requests for Information, and contract plans and specifications.
  • Prepare transmittals, distribute documents using PMWeb, and retrieve documents through PMWeb software.
  • Maintain a highly organized and detail-oriented approach.
  • Act proactively and with a results-oriented focus.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • May be designated as a lead Document Control Technician on a project or element.
  • May be assigned training duties to train new staff on document controls procedures.

Other Required Duties

  • Aid the Project Manager, the Construction Manager, and the Project Team in all matters relative to project records and the control and distribution of documents in PMWeb.
  • Support project teams in organizing workflows and approvals.
  • Participate in project meetings, as necessary.

Hardware/Software Knowledge

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat is required.
  • Experience with large-scale Document Control Software is preferred, PMWeb and/or Documentum highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience with routine Document Control hardware and software, such as scanners, optical character recognition.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional required.

Required Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree
  • 5-10 years’ experience with document processing and data management.
  • Document processing experience at large international airports preferred.
  • Certification for document control professionals highly desirable.
  • US Employment Authorization without needing sponsorship.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • 3+ References from Clients

Element-Specific Requirements/Notes

  • May assume other duties as required/needed.
  • May work overtime.
  • Maybe required to work various shifts as needed.
  • This is a Monday-Friday full-time position in the office or on the project site at LAX.
