Law Enforcement Specialist

Primary Location

Various U.S. Army Installations (CONUS) – field-based, extensive travel required

Clearance

Required: Active Secret (Top Secret eligibility preferred)

Specific Responsibilities

• Evaluate Provost Marshal operations.
• Review law enforcement policies and procedures.
• Assess patrol operations and response capabilities.
• Evaluate incident reporting processes.
• Review crime prevention programs.
• Assess evidence handling and accountability procedures.
• Evaluate coordination between law enforcement and protection partners.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Security Management, Engineering, Military Science, Emergency Management, or a related discipline.
• Additional military police, Federal law enforcement, or senior DoD experience may be substituted for education requirements where contractually permissible.
• Army or DoD law enforcement operations.
• Provost Marshal Office functions and organizational management.
• Criminal incident reporting and records management.
• Physical security and installation protection integration.
• Inspection, assessment, and compliance evaluation.
• Risk assessment and corrective action development.
• Executive reporting and senior leader briefings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Army Military Police or equivalent Federal law enforcement experience.
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
• Physical Security Professional (PSP).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Top Secret clearance or eligibility.

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• Work is performed in both office and field environments, including on-site assessments at Army installations.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and stoop for extended periods while touring facilities and grounds, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during site assessments.
