Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

- LEOs may be required to provide a court appearance for citations that are issued on behalf of DOTA. Contractor shall provide replacement staffing for LEOs that are required to attend a court proceeding.
Requirements
- Mentally and emotionally capable of performing all duties required for their assigned Post/duties.
- In good physical health and be fully capable of performing normal or emergency duties requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion such as standing, walking patrolling for an entire shift(s), climbing stairs, running and self-defense.
- Ability to perform essential physical tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
- Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs. (e.g., fire extinguisher) for a designated distance.
- Assisting in the safe evacuation of individuals, including carrying a small child or providing support to persons with limited mobility.
- Ability to exercise physical force, if required, in the execution of their official duties.
- Be able to successfully pass a security background check conducted by the DOTA pass and ID office.
- Well-groomed and neat in appearance as officially commissioned representatives of the State.
- Pass and complete a one-time physical examination within the past 6 months.
- Pass a 12-panel drug test and pass all future random drug testing.
- Able to hear at a normal conversational level. A hearing aid may be used to.
Qualifications
- No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C.922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings (referring to the decisions in Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 105 (1972) and United States v. Henthorn, 931 F. 2d 29 (9th Cir. 1991)).
- Valid Driver's License.
- Law Enforcement Officer License.
- 22+ years of age.
Skills
- Supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.

Pay
$28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
