Duties And Responsibilities
- Review briefs, motions, and other case filings
- Conduct thorough and comprehensive legal research on a wide range of topics
- Prepare written memos
- Draft, proofread, and cite-check judicial opinions
- Attend oral arguments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
- Be a member of The Missouri Bar or be eligible to sit for the Missouri bar examination
Salary and benefits
- The anticipated starting salary is $60,000 to $63,000 per year, depending on the specific position.
- Law clerks are eligible for certain state benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, deferred compensation plan, and retirement plan (after applicable vesting period).
