Law Clerk I
Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to attorneys across all stages of litigation.
- Analyzes substantial quantities of electronic documents to ascertain responsiveness, confidentiality, and privilege.
- Presents various legal documents for attorneys, including subpoenas, discovery letters, and logs.
- Prepares trial exhibits and witness lists.
- Supports witnesses and prepares witness binders for depositions and trials.
- Document review experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms like Relativity preferred but not required.
- Communicates significant issues and crucial documents to the team.
Qualifications
- Law Degree
- Strong grasp of federal and state court systems, legal research methods, and legal research tools (Westlaw and Lexis)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to secure and retain a DOJ MBI clearance
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location. Minimum Required Hourly Wage: $34.66
