Laundry Worker Lead - Powell - Overhead

Job Responsibilities

• Understands and knows all aspects of a Production Laundry Worker.
• Maintains proper coverage of the plant during employee breaks.
• Aids the supervisor in collecting productivity data.
• Operates assigned equipment and works closely with maintenance to fix issues promptly.
• Maintains customer product segregation including rewash, stain, and discard linen.
• Leads operation of tunnel washers and ensures linen meets quality standards.
• Maintains linen inventory logs for accuracy.
• Performs tasks efficiently and safely.
• Ensures quality control on assigned tasks.
• Notifies supervisor on supply levels and quantities.
• Maintains cleanliness and performs maintenance of work area.
• Fulfills safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high production laundry preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with others.
• Physical ability to carry out duties including repetitive motion, constant standing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking.
