Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and associated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to restore equipment functionality.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities such as cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and replacement of worn components.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory usage documentation.
- Cookordinate with operations and support teams to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Provide professional customer service when interacting with property management staff, residents, and facility personnel.
- Educate end users on basic equipment operation and maintenance when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience repairing and troubleshooting laundry equipment, appliances, or similar machinery.
- Basic electrical knowledge, including safe use of testing equipment and the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Able to accurately document service activities and repairs.
- Comfortable working independently at multiple customer locations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Able to lift and move equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical or vocational training in appliance repair, HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical systems, or a related field.
- Previous experience in field service, maintenance, appliance repair, or commercial equipment servicing.
- Experience working in multifamily housing, healthcare facilities, commercial properties, or similar environments.
