About the role
This is a per diem role allowing for flexibility in weekly scheduled hours. This role is not eligible for benefits.
Responsibilities
- Operate the in-house laundry facility
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment
- Follow Federal Register Rules and Regulations, Porter Medical Center and HPRN Infection Control policies and procedures, and Environmental Services and Laundry Department policies and procedures
- Maintain high standards
- Work collaboratively with co-workers and other department team members as required
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Ability to read written procedures and apply to daily work
- Ability to submit records of accomplished work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and good public relations
