Laundry Technician, LTC - Part-time -Dayshift

Job Summary

Perform day to day tasks to maintain a clean environment in a health care organization. Work independently or in a team environment ensuring safe and appropriate handling of laundry using equipment, methods, and techniques. Complete assigned tasks based on standard processes and policies, including handling contaminated laundry according to organizational and healthcare industrial standards. Participate in laundry collection, sorting, and distribution, as well as washing, drying, folding, and labeling linens and clothing. Store and secure laundry supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to use a computer
• Prior cleaning experience in a healthcare setting helpful
• Knowledge of materials, equipment, and methods used in cleaning helpful
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record (depending on location)
