Laundry Technician

Duties

• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Train and supervise inmate workers in proper laundry procedures
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information
• Show strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
• One (1) year of experience in commercial or industrial laundry operations preferred
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation at the time of hire and throughout the course of employment

Salary

$50,107 – $71,149
