Laundry Supervisor - Full Time

Essential Functions

• Supervise staff in the performance of all daily procedures to ensure they are performed to standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities.
• Oversee laundry operations.
• Absorb and assist staff with their job functions where needed to ensure optimum laundry operations.

Qualifications

• Flexibility.
• Proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling and usage of equipment.
• Great communicator.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through legible writing.
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight of 50lbs.
• Must be able to occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weight of 25lbs.
• Loves working with people and solving problems.
• Flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring attention to detail.
