Laundry Specialist Senior (Utility) - Full Time, Walt Disney World
About the Role
We are seeking a Laundry Specialist Senior (Utility) Cast Member to work at one or more laundry facilities at Walt Disney World. This role involves varied responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment, working indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions. Cast Members may be assigned tasks such as operating specialty equipment, processing linen, managing inventory, and maintaining facility cleanliness.
This role requires prolonged standing, walking, climbing stairs, and frequent physical activities including pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting objects from the floor to above the head.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, tugger, or other specialty equipment as needed.
- Load and unload items onto trucks, rack systems, and throughout the facility.
- Perform basic math skills and verbal/written communications.
- Use computers or handheld devices to conduct inventory, send reports, and communicate with others.
- Prioritize and sequence tasks to meet production demands using good judgment.
- Handle soiled and/or clean linen in an organized manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility and equipment.

Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid US Driver’s License.
- Demonstrated computer experience within a Microsoft environment.
- Recent forklift experience (lifting product/pallets more than 20 feet high).
- Strong teamwork and quality-conscious mindset.
- Willingness to work at multiple locations.
- Desire to meet and exceed performance goals in a high-production environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Houseperson, Housekeeping, and/or Laundry worker.

Pay
The starting pay rate for this role is $19.25 per hour.
Schedule
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Shifts may start as early as 5:00 AM or end as late as 3:00 AM, 4:00 AM, or 5:00 AM. Scheduling is based on the principles of seniority.
