About the Role
Your Impact
- Launder, alter, and repair linens, towels, and other items in accordance with established standards.
- Maintain linen and towel par levels for all hotel operations.
- Remove damaged and stained linen from circulation. Make repairs when possible. Report items with damage beyond repair.
- Sort and prepare soiled hotel linen and other laundry for pickup by contracted laundry service(s).
- Receive and process laundry service deliveries.
- Keep accurate and complete records of laundry services.
- Follow all safety procedures. Report all unsafe conditions immediately. Use equipment and chemicals only as intended.
- Keep work area and inventory clean and organized.
- Assist fellow housekeeping team members when possible and appropriate.
Requirements
What You Bring
- 1 year hotel housekeeping/laundry experience or related experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning/laundry techniques/chemical applications (plus).
- Desire to work in a fast-paced role.
- Availability to work approximately 4 days per week including weekends.
