Laundry Attendant (Part Time)

The Laundry Attendant supports the hotel’s daily operation by cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing linens and terry to ensure a continuous supply for guest rooms and hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and stack hotel linens, terry, and other laundry items according to established standards.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers/presses as applicable) safely and properly.
• Follow proper chemical usage, dilution, labeling, and storage guidelines.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear; treat stains and remove items from circulation when necessary.

Inventory & Organization

• Maintain accurate par levels and communicate shortages or linen needs to the supervisor.
• Keep laundry and linen storage areas clean, organized, and stocked.
• Deliver clean linens to appropriate locations and collect soiled linens as needed.

Quality, Safety & Standards

• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room, equipment, floors, drains, and work areas throughout the shift.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and safe lifting/moving practices.
• Comply with hotel policies, sanitation standards, and brand expectations.
• Aid with other housekeeping tasks as needed to support hotel operations.

Compensation & Benefits
