Laundry Attendant - Part Time

Essential Functions

• Operating dryers, washing machines, ironers & chute
• Sort, press, clean & store hotel linen
• Deliver clean linen to the proper linen closets by item and record deliveries
• Operating towel folder
• Clean all dryers at least 3 times a day
• Inventory and maintain par levels of all linen closets
• Clean area and blow down all machines
• Completes other duties as assigned

Hotel Specific Essential Functions

• Inventory housekeeping linen closets daily
• Deliver Housekeeping and Banquet linen to specified closets
• Stock all closets according to specific par levels
• Pick up dirty linen from Banquet pantries
• Empty chute daily
• Empty dryers and assist in folding terry
• Deliver robes to linen closets and stock according to par
• Empty trash and keep work areas clean and free of lint

Tools And Equipment

• Telephone, pen/pencil
• Towel Folder , dryers, washing machines, chute linen trucks

Working Environment

• Interior of hotel
• Exposure to extreme heat and humidity
• Exposure to hazardous laundry cleaning chemicals
