Laundry Attendant Part-Time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Empty all laundry receptacles
• Properly sort all linen for laundering
• Pre-spot and pre-soak difficult stains before washing
• Load and unload washers and dryers
• Fold linen, individually or with partner based on size
• Deliver and stack clean linen in supply areas
• Report any problems immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Guest Relations Manager
• Report to manager when chemicals/items needed for job need to be reordered
• Store chemicals neatly and properly
• Communicate with other departments for proper distribution of laundry
• Promotes outstanding customer relations
• Performs all other duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior laundry experience a plus. Must be able to work alone and/or as a team
• Must have good communication and organization skills. Must be detail oriented
• Required to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Frequently walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying and climbing
