Laundry Attendant (Part Time)

The Laundry Attendant contributes to the hotel's commitment to high-quality guest service and teamwork, creating an experience for our hotel guests by offering welcoming, helpful, and exceptional service while maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment. This position is responsible for processing hotel and guest laundry, including pressing, sorting, and folding, using commercial pressing and folding equipment. Laundry Attendants are also responsible for programming and logging their operations.

Responsibilities

• Process hotel and guest laundry, including pressing, sorting, and folding.
• Operate commercial pressing and folding equipment.
• Program and log laundry operations.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment.
• Provide welcoming, helpful, and exceptional service to guests.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry experience required.
• Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field.
• Schedule flexibility for PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong command of the English language (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task and take direction from a Supervisor or Manager.
• Consistent punctuality for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move moderate distances.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, starting as early as 3 AM.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $21.50/hr.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with required flexibility for PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
