Laundry Aide, Part-time

About the role

Piedmont Post Acute is an 88-bed skilled nursing facility in Piedmont, South Carolina. The position is part-time and offers competitive pay ranging from $14 to $15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident laundry and facility linens
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is always available
• Deliver clean clothing and linens to resident rooms
• Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service
• Label resident clothing as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures
• Safely operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning supplies
• Monitor inventory and report supply needs
• Report equipment issues to leadership promptly

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• One year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Careful and respectful toward residents
