About the role
We are Regency Care of Rogue Valley, a skilled nursing community providing quality care to the residents we serve, located in Grants Pass, OR. We are looking for caring and compassionate resident-minded individuals to join our team as a Part-Time/Weekend Laundry Aide.
Responsibilities
- Fold and distribute clean linens
- Clean dryer lint screens
- Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear
- Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly
- Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens
- Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Compassion and interest in working with the senior population
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
