Laundry Aide

We’re seeking dependable, hard-working Laundry Aides who take pride in their work and understand the dignity and care behind every load of laundry.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver resident clothing and linens
• Follow proper laundry procedures for stain treatment, sanitation, and garment care
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the laundry room at all times
• Work with nursing and housekeeping to ensure timely and accurate service
• Practice infection control, proper PPE use, and equipment safety procedures
• Respect residents’ privacy and personal belongings
• Complete daily documentation and report equipment or safety concerns as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to perform basic math and follow laundry procedures
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
• Previous experience in a long-term care or institutional laundry setting preferred, but not required
