Pay

$16.25/hour.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with rotating weekends 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform the essential functions of the Laundry Aide role.
• Meet the functional and environmental requirements of the job.

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Must be able to read and write English.

About us

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational, and therapy services to infants, children, teens, and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. With two residential locations—the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin—we currently serve nearly 178 residents. Our Marklund Day School offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children and young adults with multiple medical needs and those diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Additionally, our Community Day Services program at each site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside at Marklund and those who come in from the community.
