Laundry Aide

Job Summary: Worland Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Laundry Aide that is responsible for the daily preparation and quality control of linen distributed. Essential Functions: Follows written policies and procedures of the Laundry DepartmentLinen sorting, washing, foldingObserves infection control standards in the handling of linens and clothing.Sorts and washes soiled linens.Hangs or lays out garmentsFolds, counts, and stacks linenPresses or hand irons articles as required.Inspects linen for wear and tear. Care and use of equipment and supplies, and cleanliness of work area.Operates washers and dryers Cleans dryer lint traps.
