Laundry Aide

About the role

The primary purpose of the Laundry Aide is to perform the day-to-day Laundry Department functions, ensuring quality laundry services are provided, safeguarding the health, safety, and welfare of all residents, and maintaining the facility laundry in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold or hang, and distribute laundry, linen, garments, etc. in accordance with established procedures and infection control standards.
• Assure that work/assignment areas are maintained, clean, and free of hazardous conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school degree or its equivalent.
