About the role
GT Independence was founded by the Carmichael family to provide alternatives to traditional group homes and nursing homes for individuals with disabilities or long-term needs. They discovered self-direction, which allows people to choose how and where they receive support and who delivers that support.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for self-direction and its role in building trusted communities of care and support
- Support over 55,000 people nationwide through financial management services
- Grow at an average annual rate of 21% since 2018
