Latin Teacher

About the role

Logos School is seeking a full-time secondary Latin teacher for grades 6–11. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Latin and Roman culture, a strong background in teaching Latin, and demonstrated experience at the secondary level. Applicants must be willing and able to agree with the school’s employee statement of faith, available on the Logos School website. The school uses Lingua Latina as its base curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach Latin to students in grades 6–11 for 5 hours per day, 5 days a week.
• Follow the curriculum guide and Lingua Latina base curriculum, with flexibility for creative lesson planning.
• Conduct classes largely in Latin to provide an immersive learning experience.
• Attend in-person Logos Teacher Training (July 1–2, 2026) and Logos Teacher Orientation (August 18–20, 2026) in Moscow, ID.

School begins on August 24, 2026.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in Latin.
• Teaching experience in other languages or subjects is a bonus.
• Willingness and ability to agree with the school’s employee statement of faith, available on the Logos School website.
