Lathe Machinist - 3 Day Work Week!

About the role

We're looking for a skilled lathe machinist to join our team in Appleton, WI. As an employee-owned company, we invest in your success as much as our own. This is a full-time position with the option of 1st or 2nd shift, with the 2nd shift offering a 3-day workweek and a 7% shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Doosan CNC lathes (12-32" chucks) with Fanuc controls
• Work on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines in a non-production setting
• Collaborate with the team to choose the most efficient machining methods
• Ensure accuracy and part quality based on blueprints and specs
• Follow 6S and safety protocols to maintain a top-tier work environment
• Embrace continuous improvement and innovation in tools, CAD/CAM, and setups

Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC lathe experience in a job shop environment
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Self-sufficiency with a strong desire to grow and improve
• High school diploma or GED preferred
