CNC Machinist - 3-Day Workweek

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill or Lathe Machinist with over 3 years of expertise to join a 2nd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for full machine setups, process optimization, and high-quality part production with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes
• Select tooling, set offsets, and prove out programs
• Edit programs and troubleshoot issues
• Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
• Inspect parts to meet tight tolerances
• Optimize cycle times and machining processes
• Mentor less experienced machinists

Key qualifications

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T
• Program editing and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities

Work with equipment such as Haas, Kitamura, Trak, and Doosan.
