Qualifications

At least one full year of experience working in a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) capacity for an agency whose primary responsibility is responding to calls for service in the community.
A current Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certificate as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) or successfully passed the Utah POST waiver exam (if you are an out-of-state candidate).

Tattoo Policy

Employees are permitted to display tattoos and body art on their hands, arms, and legs when they do not distract or interfere with the employee's on-duty actions and responsibilities. Specific exceptions apply to certain locations and types of tattoos.
