About the role
The City of Little Rock seeks a Lateral Police Officer to patrol an assigned district in the city.
Responsibilities
- Enforce laws and ordinances within the assigned district.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide appropriate assistance.
- Interact with the public and handle complaints.
- Participate in community policing initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current active law enforcement Basic certification.
- A valid Arkansas Class "D" (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License.
- Meet any other requirements set by the Little Rock Civil Service Commission and the State Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of law enforcement patrol experience preferred.
- Experience working in a law enforcement capacity.

- Proficiency in firearms and defensive tactics.

Pay
- Starting salary up to $74,235.20, depending on agency size and years of service (up to four years credit allowed).
