Lateral Conflicts Analyst

Responsibilities
- Prepares initial conflicts summaries and identifies potential conflicts of interest for lateral attorneys and non-lawyers.
- Supports sponsoring attorneys in resolving and clearing conflicts and drafting waiver letters.
- Performs corporate and conflicts database research on client and matter information provided by candidates, sponsors, and recruiting staff.
- Maintains and organizes lateral candidate files, providing updates or knowledge about candidate statuses as needed.
- Works with new lateral partners and their assistants to expedite the opening of priority portable clients.
- Ensures conflicts are properly identified and communicated to candidates prior to their start date.
- Collaborates with the Deputy General Counsel to ensure conflicts are addressed and communicated effectively.
- Communicates with the CNB Senior Manager and Information Governance/transfer teams regarding the onboarding of lateral files and the opening of transfer clients and matters.
- Assists with other duties related to conflict resolution and clearance, including support for the firm's new business.
- Supports the CNB Senior Manager in various research requests and projects.
- Prioritizes and executes tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of conflicts analysis experience required.
- Experience with lateral conflicts analysis required.
- Equivalent/relevant work experience may be substituted for lateral experience.
Benefits
The full compensation range for this position is between $63,900 to $108,500 in Milwaukee, Madison; $70,300 to $119,400 in Chicago, Denver, Dallas; $73,500 to $124,800 in Los Angeles; $76,700 to $135,600 in Boston, New York City, Washington, DC.
