Lateral Conflicts Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepares initial conflicts summaries and identifies potential conflicts of interest for lateral attorneys and non-lawyers.
• Supports sponsoring attorneys in resolving and clearing conflicts and drafting waiver letters.
• Performs corporate and conflicts database research on client and matter information provided by candidates, sponsors, and recruiting staff.
• Checks former and current work for potential conflicts.
• Works with the Deputy General Counsel to ensure conflicts are properly identified and communicated to the candidate prior to start date.
• Ensures that communication occurs between CNB and Information Governance/transfer teams regarding the onboarding of lateral files and the opening of transfer clients and matters.
• Assists the CNB Senior Manager in a wide range of research requests and other projects.
• Prioritizes and executes tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of conflicts analysis experience required.
• Experience with lateral conflicts analysis required.
• Equivalent/relevant work experience may be substituted for lateral experience.
