Lateral Attorney, Tax Credit Finance
JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock LLP seeks an experienced lateral attorney to join the firm’s Tax Credit Finance practice. This role provides the ability to build knowledge and skills with a variety of transactional matters, including tax, energy, debt, and equity financing and real estate matters, while working closely with experienced partners.

QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to address sophisticated legal issues
Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating associated financing agreements and reviewing associated diligence
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing
Capable of creative problem-solving
Ability to apply critical thinking and possess a high attention to detail
Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff
Self-motivated, able to work with a sense of urgency effectively while meeting strict deadlines
Commitment to achieving the goals of Firm clients
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be currently admitted to practice with an active bar license in good standing of the locality of the office location in which the candidate sits
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in one of the following areas of practice: Tax and tax credits, partnerships, corporations, real estate, and secured lending and equity finance
Candidates with a portable book of business given preference, but not required
POSITION INFORMATION
Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $180,000-$400,000+ base salary, per year plus discretionary bonus. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including experience, office location, originations, and portable book of business.
