Lateral Attorney, Tax Credit Finance
JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock LLP seeks an experienced lateral attorney to join the firm’s Tax Credit Finance practice. This role provides the ability to build knowledge and skills with a variety of transactional matters, including tax, energy, debt, and equity financing and real estate matters, while working closely with experienced partners. Ideal candidates are interested in joining a growing transactional practice covering deals across the country involving partnerships and corporations, tax and tax credits, real estate, and secured lending and equity finance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to address sophisticated legal issues
- Exceptional writing, research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating associated financing agreements and reviewing associated diligence
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing
- Capable of creative problem-solving
- Ability to apply critical thinking and possess a high attention to detail
- Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff
- Self-motivated, able to work with a sense of urgency effectively while meeting strict deadlines
- Commitment to achieving the goals of Firm clients
POSITION INFORMATION
- Status: Exempt
- Salary Range: $180,000-$400,000+ base salary, per year plus discretionary bonus. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including experience, office location, originations, and portable book of business.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid, in either Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Denver, CO; Fayetteville, AR; Irvine, CA; Kansas City, MO; Little Rock, AR; Los Angeles, CA; Minneapolis, MN; Omaha, NE; Philadelphia, PA; Richmond, VA; Rogers, AR; Scottsdale, AZ; Spokane, WA; Springfield, MO; Washington, D.C.; or Wichita, KS offices.
