Laserfiche Administration & Development
- Configure, maintain, and optimize the Laserfiche environment (Repository, Workflow, Forms, and Integration)
- Maintain and enhance existing Laserfiche integrations with core district applications (Student Information System, ERP, Special Education applications)
Workflow Automation
- Design and implement automated business processes using Laserfiche Workflow and Forms to streamline District operations
Systems Integration
- Develop and maintain robust API integrations between Laserfiche and core district applications
Document Management Strategy
- Aid departments in designing efficient folder structures, metadata fields, and capture workflows to ensure compliance and accessibility
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for Laserfiche-related issues, providing debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution for document management and data integrity issues
System Lifecycle Management
- Analyze current document management needs, recommend new system installations or modifications, and manage upgrades and patch testing
Reporting
- Develop specialized reports based on document metadata and business process metrics to meet user specifications
Collaboration
- Consult with departments to translate business requirements into functional automated solutions
Documentation
- Maintain technical documentation for custom workflows, scripts, and integration architectures
Security & Compliance
- Administer user permissions, security groups, records management policies, retention schedules, and audit controls to ensure compliance with District policies, FERPA, and applicable regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
- 5+ years of technical experience in application development and support
- Demonstrated deep knowledge of Laserfiche (Certification a plus)
- Proficiency in Laserfiche SDK/API development
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., C#, PowerShell, or JavaScript) used for Laserfiche customization
- Strong understanding of SQL (MS SQL) for database management and reporting
- Full-Stack Capability: Must understand broader software engineering concepts to manage complex integrations (Webservices/SOA)
- Familiarity with ITIL standards or Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical staff
Pay
Minimum Salary: $84,596.00
Median Salary: $103,174.00
