Laserfiche Administration & Development

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize the Laserfiche environment (Repository, Workflow, Forms, and Integration)
  • Maintain and enhance existing Laserfiche integrations with core district applications (Student Information System, ERP, Special Education applications)

Workflow Automation

  • Design and implement automated business processes using Laserfiche Workflow and Forms to streamline District operations

Systems Integration

  • Develop and maintain robust API integrations between Laserfiche and core district applications

Document Management Strategy

  • Aid departments in designing efficient folder structures, metadata fields, and capture workflows to ensure compliance and accessibility

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for Laserfiche-related issues, providing debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution for document management and data integrity issues

System Lifecycle Management

  • Analyze current document management needs, recommend new system installations or modifications, and manage upgrades and patch testing

Reporting

  • Develop specialized reports based on document metadata and business process metrics to meet user specifications

Collaboration

  • Consult with departments to translate business requirements into functional automated solutions

Documentation

  • Maintain technical documentation for custom workflows, scripts, and integration architectures

Security & Compliance

  • Administer user permissions, security groups, records management policies, retention schedules, and audit controls to ensure compliance with District policies, FERPA, and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of technical experience in application development and support
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of Laserfiche (Certification a plus)
  • Proficiency in Laserfiche SDK/API development
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., C#, PowerShell, or JavaScript) used for Laserfiche customization
  • Strong understanding of SQL (MS SQL) for database management and reporting
  • Full-Stack Capability: Must understand broader software engineering concepts to manage complex integrations (Webservices/SOA)
  • Familiarity with ITIL standards or Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical staff

Pay

Minimum Salary: $84,596.00

Median Salary: $103,174.00
