Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and complete daily work assignments according to production schedules and LYNQ.
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting equipment to ensure efficient production.
- Review and verify laser programs to ensure parts are being produced accurately and according to specifications.
- Inspect completed parts to ensure quality standards and dimensional requirements are met.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain production quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine machine checks, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure machines are stocked with required materials and consumables.
- Maintain communication with team members and leadership regarding production status, quality concerns, and equipment issues.
- Assist with resolving day-to-day manufacturing challenges to meet production deadlines.
- Cross-train on other fabrication equipment, including CNC press brakes and punch machines.
- Support other manufacturing departments when equipment downtime or production demands require.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business and production needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Experience operating CNC laser equipment or similar automated manufacturing machinery preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Ability to read and interpret production documents, work instructions, and part drawings.
- Ability to work successfully across multiple departments within the organization.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
- Experience operating CNC press brakes, laser cutters, or punch presses.
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes.
- Familiarity with CNC programming concepts and machine setup procedures.
