Laser Operator

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate lasers according to op-sheets and drawings.
- Ensure parts cut conform to drawings using height gages, calipers, and other approved gauges.
- Complete first-piece inspections on all jobs as required.
- Accurately fill out paperwork regarding counts, material, scrap, and time according to company policy.
- Perform daily walk-around maintenance.
- Replace scrap barrels when necessary.
- Run multiple lasers simultaneously when needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of job-related experience
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship
- Able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Some mechanical skills
- Ability to work standing and walking throughout the day
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of laser head, power supply, pulse forming network, optical system, and movement system
