Laser Operator

Lake Air Products is a fast-growing company that lives by its Core Values: Customer Focus, Passion for Performance, and the Right People - Best Teams. We are seeking an experienced 1st shift Laser Operator to join our team in Little Chute, WI, within the metal fabrication industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of production tasks, including simple repetitive manual and automated finishing operations, hand deburring, grinding, assembly, and welding on uncomplicated products.
• Adjust work routines to meet scheduling demands.
• Comply with ISO Quality Management System requirements, departmental procedures, and work instructions.
• Create master programs for computer-controlled laser machines.
• Develop programs to ensure on-time delivery and optimal material usage.
• Start and monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; adjust machine controls as needed.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and programmers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of laser operation experience.
• 2-5 years in metal manufacturing.
• Ability to bend, lift, load/unload work pieces, and move between workstations; alternately sit and stand.
