Large Loss Bodily Injury Manager - National General

National General is part of The Allstate Corporation, offering home, auto, accident and health insurance, and specialty niche products through independent agents and direct channels. This role designs, develops, and implements projects and initiatives within a field discipline aligned with claims strategy, managing a subset of operations for a market claim office (MCO) typically exceeding 125 employees. The position leads, trains, and motivates leaders and employees across business segments with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and customer centricity, handling bodily injury claims with policy limits up to 100/300 across diverse jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures understanding of business objectives, results, and processes with direct reports
• Fosters a collaborative environment that inspires and motivates employees
• Develops and directs business unit action plans
• Manages and resolves escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts, or issues
• Accountable for human resources duties including resource management, hiring, performance management, talent development, and compensation planning
• Responsible for complex claim decisions, identification of hiring, training, and succession planning opportunities
• Develops and implements short- and long-term strategies and process improvements to achieve corporate financial outcomes
• Analyzes results and contributes to strategies and action plans supporting operational goals for customer service, loss cost management, and expense controls

• Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments during employment
• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team

Compensation

Annual salary range: $98,100.00 – $167,850.00, based on experience and qualifications.
