About the Role

AlphaGraphics Middleton is a family-owned business specializing in marketing and communication products, including graphic design, printing, and signs. We are looking for a Large Format Specialist to join our growing team. Experience with large format, vinyl applications, and vehicle wraps/graphics is helpful, but personality and work ethic are what count most.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Sign Manager, the Large Format Specialist is responsible for daily project production and completion. Duties include:

• Operating sign equipment
• Processing and producing vinyl material
• Preparing substrates and vehicles for the application of graphics
• Installing plot vinyl, digital print vinyl, and wraps on multiple surfaces
• Processing signs and different substrates
• Following layouts and directions as instructed
• Completing projects from start to finish
• Digital print production related to sign production
• Large format and sign finishing with installation when necessary
• Large format design and execution: setting up files for cut vinyl, analyzing files for large signage, and understanding differences in substrates including vehicle wraps and custom vinyl installations
• Other essential functions needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating wide format printers and associated equipment for commercial sign companies or printers
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and RIP software
• Proven understanding or experience using large format digital printers, UV flatbed printers, roll-to-roll printers, vinyl printers, laminators, and flatbed routers
• Basic math skills and ability to use a computer
• Ability to lift 25 lbs safely and work over a waist-high table
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)

Pay

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
