Large Equipment Mechanic (Diesel)

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and gas and diesel engines
• Performing service calls on the road and communicating with customers about the status and location of repairs needed
• Cleaning up after each project, keeping indoor and outdoor workstations clean and clear from obstructions, and maintaining clean and working service trucks
• Clearing communication with the Service Supervisor and parts department to ensure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner
• Accurately keeping records, including parts orders and hours worked on equipment
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
• Completing related tasks as assigned

Requirements

• A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Previous experience working with DC voltage controls, hydraulics, and gas and diesel engines
• The willingness to work outdoors in all seasons and cross-train in other repair areas
• A team player who is dependable and takes pride in quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Sit, stand, and walk on a hard surface for the majority of your shift
• Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Pay

$32+/hour (based on experience) and $3,000 sign on bonus for qualifying candidates

Schedule

Full-time - 40 hours/week during operating hours
