Lantech - Banding Operator/Forklift

About the role

Lantech is seeking a Banding Operator/Forklift to join our team. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for packaging products according to plans, performing routine equipment maintenance, inspecting finished products, and assisting with troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic, routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Stock machines with raw materials and communicate with other personnel about raw material quality
• Conduct visual inspections of finished products and initiate corrective actions if necessary
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and leadership to address quality issues, productivity improvements, and cost reduction initiatives
• Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position
• Ability to operate all required tooling and machinery
• High level of accuracy and quality in finished material
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems during production
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Bonus Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience
• Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

What Will Put you Ahead

• Previous experience on a fork truck

Physical Job Requirements

• Sitting, standing on concrete, walking, climbing, heavy lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching, bending
• Face shield/goggles, dust mask/respirator, hard hat, ear plugs, and high visibility vest required
