Language Facilitator - District

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports the work of teachers and other staff by facilitating effective communication between stakeholders when one or more parties require language assistance.
• Supports home school communication by assisting school staff in contacting and supporting families as needed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in working with school age children is desired.
• Demonstrated proficiency in English and another language.
• Fluency in additional languages beyond English and another language is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand and speak interpersonal and academic English proficiently.
• Ability to communicate with people of all ages.
• Ability to accept direction and collaborate with teachers and staff.
• Ability to communicate with ELL Program staff and local school district staff through electronic mail and/or other means.
• Ability to represent the school district in a professional manner at all times.
