Language Arts Teacher - High School
0.6 FTE position for the 2026–27 school year (Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–3:30 pm) teaching Language Arts to grades 9–12 at White Bear Lake Area High School.
About the role
White Bear Lake Area High School is seeking a Language Arts Teacher to support a diverse community of high-school learners. The successful candidate will create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where students develop essential skills and confidence through meaningful, engaging instruction. This role involves using a variety of teaching methods to meet student needs, helping all learners feel a sense of belonging, purpose, and capability. Work is performed under the supervision of the Principal, with occasional oversight of paraprofessionals or volunteers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in teaching or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minnesota Teaching License
- BA or BS in English, Language Arts, or Literature
