LANE SERVER (1 YEAR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

Overview

Strikers is seeking a Lane Server to work at their remodeled, 40-lane bowling center in Sunrise, FL. The Lane Server will provide first-class service to every guest by anticipating and fulfilling food and beverage requests, allowing bowlers to relax and enjoy their time at Strikers.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional, and personalized service
• Cheerfully greet each guest that is seated in your area
• Make sure each guest has a menu and/or is comfortable accessing the menu by scanning the QR code
• Take each guest’s food and alcohol orders
• Deliver and properly present all food and beverages
• Keep assigned areas clean and empty of used glasses and plates
• Thank everyone for visiting
• Up-sell guest food and beverage orders
• Constantly look for service opportunities
• Aid guests with scoring or bowling needs if necessary
• Respond to and resolve guest complaints, involving the Manager on Duty when necessary

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum one-year experience in a serving or related role
• Must have customer service experience
• Must have cash handling experience
• Positive, upbeat demeanor, and outgoing personality
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Must be fluent in English
• Bartending experience (preferred)
• High School Diploma
• Responsible Alcohol Training
• ServSafe certified or able to complete certification within 60 days of hire
