Lane Closure Specialist

About the role
As a Lane Closure Specialist, you will perform lane closures on state highways and other roadways, redirecting traffic for workers or survey crews, and working independently or as part of a traffic control crew.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain safe work zones using the proper equipment
- Ensure the safety of assigned traffic control projects by setting up and taking down lane closures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the safety of all
- Manage traffic flow effectively with stop/slow paddles
- Deliver exceptional service and protection to our clients

Requirements
- Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles
- Frequent exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites including high noise level in the work environment
- Work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, not limited to heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
- Lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
- Good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination
Schedule
Hours of operation may vary due to staffing needs. Current hours: starting between 5-6pm and working 10-14 hour overnight shifts.
Pay
Competitive hourly pay starting at $18-18.75/hour, based on experience, with a guaranteed pay increase within the first year.
