About the role

Our confidential client is a premier provider of large-scale landscape and hardscape design/build services, specializing in creating exceptional outdoor environments for high-end residential clients. This role is ideal for a proven leader who thrives on delivering complex projects, building strong teams, and driving operational excellence. Based in Michigan, the team is committed to craftsmanship, collaboration, and creating a positive company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Landscape Production Division, including project scheduling, execution, and completion of all construction and design/build projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex landscape construction projects.
  • Utilize systems such as LMN to track job costing, production efficiency, and data-driven decision making.
  • Manage and coordinate internal crews and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and project timelines are met.
  • Oversee subcontractor services for maintenance clients including irrigation, lawn care, and plant care.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure projects meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of landscape or construction project management experience within a company generating $3M+ in annual revenue.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing a production division or similar operational team.
  • Strong understanding of high-end residential landscape design/build processes or similar construction environments.
  • Basic knowledge of plant material and procurement terminology.
  • Proven experience managing multiple crews and subcontractor teams simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Pay

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 annually (based on experience)
