Landscape Technician - Mt Juliet, TN

Pay: $19.47 per hour | Full-Time

About the Role

Color Burst Landscapes is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Landscape Technicians. This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and seeing the results of their work each day. Previous landscaping experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train candidates who have experience working outdoors, are comfortable with physical work, and are ready to learn. The most important qualities we are looking for are a positive attitude, a strong work ethique, and reliability. We need team members who show up every day, arrive on time, follow directions, and are willing to help the crew get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, weeding, mulching, and general property cleanup
• Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plant materials
• Installing sod and assisting with other landscape improvements
• Using shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and other landscaping tools
• Safely operating landscaping equipment after receiving training
• Following instructions from the Crew Leader
• Completing assigned work safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Keeping work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Helping other crew members as needed
• Reporting unsafe conditions or damaged equipment to a supervisor

At least one year of landscaping experience is preferred, but it is not required.

Physical and Working Conditions

This is an active outdoor position. Employees must be able to:

• Perform physically demanding work throughout the day
• Regularly lift, carry, push, pull, bend, kneel, and stand
• Work outdoors in heat, cold, sun, rain, and changing weather conditions
• Work around dust, pollen, insects, grass, plants, equipment, and moving mechanical parts
• Work additional hours during busy seasons when needed
• Safely use landscaping tools and equipment
