Responsibilities
- Mowing and edging lawns
- Pruning shrubs and trimming hedges
- Using leaf blowers and other power equipment
- Weeding and maintaining flower beds
- Making minor tree work
- Applying mulch
- Picking up trash and debris
- Fertilizing plants
- Simplifying irrigation repairs
- Planting and seasonal colored flowers
- Performing tool maintenance and repairs
- Documenting jobs
- Tracking time
- Driving
- Maintaining basic equipment
- Maintaining basic vehicle
Requirements
- Excellent customer service
- Valid California driver's license
- At least 2 years of experience in professional maintenance
- Bi-lingual English & Spanish reading and writing fluently
- At least 18 years old
- Good driving record
- Pass drug test
- Able to use apps and software on a phone
Physical Requirements
- Adequate hearing, speaking, and vision to clearly and safely communicate
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- The ability to prioritize and efficiently delegate work
- All-around mobility to walk for 8 hours
- Ability to work in cold and hot conditions
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs comfortably
